‘It’s a concoction of pandemic times, relationship grievances, finding forms of mindfulness, serendipitous meetings and alternative, creating ways of expression’, says Lemzi of his new CP, ‘Outliers: A Creative Project by Lemzi’.
Divided into three chapters, entitled: ‘Polluted Mind’; ‘Outsyde’; and ‘Reasoning’, the tracks highlight emotional expression in many different forms. Alongside narratives and conversations, the tracks themselves exceed the conventional features of music, instead becoming a broader reflection of Lemzi’s thoughts, feelings and experiences.
For Lemzi, this project is highly personal, having been organically put together over the last two pages, and focusing upon feelings aligning to his own experiences, including grief and fragility.
