Releasing their debut album entitled ‘Leven The Vale’, pop rock group Bank Street Martyrs showcase their poetic hometown fuelled lyrics. The new album was released on all streaming platforms on the 10th December 2022 and is now available to be listened to in full.
The leading single, entitled ‘Leven The Vale’ is accompanied by a music video that was self-released by the band. The music video continues the melancholic homecoming themes that can be heard throughout the album and was directed by local filmmaker Harvey Smart, making sure that all talent is linked to The Vale Of Leven.
Accompanied by a performance at the Library in Alexandria, the album’s lead single ‘Leven The Vale’ was originally written by founder Retson as a poem read at his 60th birthday. The song heavily reflects on Retsons return to his hometown.
