‘Say Goodbye’ is the first part of a planned trilogy, introducing us to Lee Walker – a six year old boy growing up in the 1970s, who after his family is torn apart by the revelation that his mother is having an affair, is sent to live at a children’s home. After plotting an escape, Walker heads to France, where he only has himself to keep himself alive. On his adventure, he becomes tangled in situations with KGB, MI6 and the secret underworld, where he discovers an extraordinary connection.
