Making an exceptional return to the thrash metal scene, SHSH are here to dazzle fans of hard-hitting, electrifying sounds with the release of their latest album The Great Paradise of Tomorrow and its debut single Homeopsychopathy. An alluring concoction of high-energy, modern metal, SHSH leave a highly impressionable mark on the listener. Formed in Vilnius, Lithuania just two years ago, their spectacular sound is entirely self-made and swiftly put them on the radar of fans across their home country.
Taking their music a step further, SHSH are set to leave their impressive mark on audiences across the world with their ‘intentionally edgy metal movement’, ‘Kill alt/indie’, with their new single bringing out the best elements of their individual sounds. The wild alter-egos masterminded by the five friends could only be referred to as ‘superheroes’. We are treated an exceptional performance from the band’s Lead Guitarist Mastermind – whose welding mask with huge teeth is easily associated with his headstrong, passionate and visionary personality – as well as Vocalist/Saxophonist Saxocutioner whose playfully flamboy persona is fuelled by theatrical live performances, Rhythm guitarist, Edgelord – whose intimidating appearance pairs with his brutal, satanic and violent identity – and Drummer, Riot’s reflective mask that gives off a clumsy, yet kind and caring energy.
Finally, we have Bassist, Mr. Lead, who blends an old-school yet laid-back approach to his sound. The band’s chemistry as a unit has been an irreplaceable and integral part to their meteoric rise since way back in 2017. Not only have they taken their sound and vision around the local metal scene, but the widespread acclaim from Metal Hammer has placed them at the very forefront, defining the very limits of thrash metal. Now, with their current release – Homeopsychopathy – SHSH are sure to extend their horizon even further.
