UK-based, Suzanne Birdie, has a power-pop rock voice that compliments Texas based, Sly Rye’s, ripping rock riffs and lead guitar solos in every song! – The band has charted on many USA and indie rock radio stations and now hits UK radio this September. The single is taken from the forthcoming album “Life In 20”, released through band camp at the end of September.
The Metal Byrds have received rotation on both international and national radio stations and have a fan base that keeps on growing. The Metal Byrds band are born musicians. London born Suzanne Birdie, has a power-pop rock voice that compliments Sly Rye’s ripping rock riffs and lead guitar solos in every song! These catchy songs are throwback to a time where female front-women dominated the radio waves with rocking sounds. A time where Hair Bands and Classic Rock & Roll ruled the world.
With some recent changes in the band, including a new rhythm section line-up change, the band’s sound has most certainly evolved. “Life in 20, is a refinement in sound from our previous songs. It showcases our versatility and range, and our love of classic rock. Our path has become more trail-blazed, as we continue to discover ourselves and make our way down the road of rock, to define our unique sound.” remarks Suzanne Birdie.
